Jacques Smith

Jacques matriculated at the Bergvlam High School in Nelspruit in 1999 and obtained the B.Com (Law) degree at the former Rand Afrikaans University.

In 2004 he obtained a post graduate Certificate in Education at the RAU and is registered with the Estate Agency Affairs Board as a principal agent. From 2004 to 2008 Jacques was a member of an estate agency as well as an import-export company in Johannesburg. He joined Christo Smith Attorneys Incorporated in 2008 and obtained the LLB degree in 2013. Jacques has since been admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary.

Jacques heads the firm’s conveyancing department, deals with property management, conveyancing, ante-nuptial contracts, notarial work and estates.

​Jacques enjoys nature and frequently visits the Kruger Park on photographic adventures. He completed the Comrades Marathon in 2011, 2012 and 2015 and won a Bill Rowan medal in 2011 in a time of 8 hours and 47 minutes. Jacques is married to Idette and they have a son Benjamin and a daughter Miané.
